Day 1. Phuket – Koh Phi Phi
Boarding Time: 9 am
Sail Time: up to 5 hours
From Phuket to Koh Phi Phi, expect up to 5 hours sail time. Arrive in the world-famous Maya Bay and take in the stunning scenery made famous in the 2000 Blockbuster Movie ‘The Beach’. Arrival here is timed perfectly, miss the hordes of tourists and enjoy the first of many spectacular sunsets.
Day 2. Koh Phi Phi – Koh Lanta – Koh Ngai – Koh Muk (Inc. Emerald Cave)
Sail Time: 4 hours to Koh Lanta / 2 hours to Koh Ngai / 1 hour to Koh Muk
After a revitalising morning swim in Maya Bay, we make our way to Koh Lanta (Pimalai beach) where there is a beautiful long sandy beach, perfect for a spot of lunch. We then head to Koh Ngai for some snorkelling before resting for the night at Koh Muk.
Day 3. Koh Muk – Koh Liang – Koh Petra
Sail Time: 3 ½ hours to Koh Liang / 1 hour to Koh Petra
Waking up early to take advantage of the Emerald Cave, this is an 80m swim through a cave (don’t worry, it’s easily accessible for all abilities) and take in the beauty of this hidden lagoon within the Island. We then make our way to the very impressive Koh Liang, beautiful beaches, tall limestone cliffs and a few caves. The evening is then spent in the completely deserted island of Koh Petra at the base of its awe-inspiring tall limestone cliffs.
Day 4. Koh Petra – Koh Rok
Sail Time: 5 hours
After a relaxing breakfast and some time to explore Koh Petra from Kayak or Dinghy, we’ll make our way to Koh Rok. 2 Islands situated very closely together, and by far, the perfect overnight anchorage. You can expect to spend the afternoon swimming and exploring the empty beaches.
Day 5. Koh Rok
Sail Time: N/A
As a favourite destination of ours, we spend 2 nights and 1 whole day here at Koh Rok. Take the time to snorkel the beautiful reefs, have some family crab races on the pristine beaches, and then in the afternoon, take a hike up the hill to some spectacular viewpoints from which you can watch the sunset in absolute tranquility. A sailor’s paradise for sure!
Day 6. Koh Rok – Koh Haa – Koh Phi Phi or Koh Racha
Sail Time: 3 ½ hours to Koh Haa / 3 hours to Koh Phi Phi or 6 ½ hours to Koh Racha
Leaving Koh Rok early, our plan is to have breakfast at Koh Haa. With the best Scuba Diving and snorkelling available, these 5 rocks/small islands sticking out of the water in the middle of nowhere are the perfect backdrop.
If we can, and weather allows, we do our best to stay here for a night.
We then travel onto your preferred location of Koh Racha (popular due its crystal-clear waters) or Koh Phi Phi again, but this time to the mainland for a spot of shopping and/or to visit the Monkey Beach.
Day 7. Koh Racha or Koh Phi Phi – Phuket
Sail Time: 3 hours from Koh Racha or 5 hours from Koh Phi Phi
Disembark Time: 5 pm
Another early start to make sure we arrive back to Chalong Bay in time for your onward travels. However, for your last day, expect a relaxed morning, and one last swim before and after breakfast.
